Hello, I'm Cindy Chia, and I’m excited to share some of my invaluable experience in the field of mental health on here. From my multicultural background of being born and raised in Malaysia, went to college in Australia, and now practicing in the United States, I've had the privilege to learn from some of the most esteemed psychologists and therapists who have shaped my expertise since 2010.

I'm thrilled to bring all that knowledge and passion to you through Aspire Psychological, an award-winning mental health private practice in Utah. My ultimate purpose is to empower you to live your best life, tailored to your unique aspirations. About Reevkah Hokanson, lcsw

Hello! My name is Reevkah Hokanson and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Aspire Psychological.

I am excited to embark on this therapeutic process with you. With a passion for fostering emotional well-being and a commitment to the transformative power of therapy, I am eager to bring my experience and empathy to your journey. 

As a therapist specializing in working with teens and adults, I firmly believe in the innate ability of individuals to create and find happiness while healing from the difficulties of life. I am honored to walk alongside my clients in their unique paths of self-discovery, healing and growth. My therapeutic approach is grounded in warmth and compassion, as I draw inspiration from various modalities, including CBT, DBT, IFS, self-compassion, experiential therapy, and talk therapy.

Though I'm an Oregonian at heart, I've called Utah home for nearly a decade. Outside of my professional life, I find joy in cooking, hiking with my husband and son, doing something new to my nails, playing board/card games, and enjoying an episode of New Girl to unwind.

Hi, my name is Emily Roseborough and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Aspire Psychological.

Over the last five years, I have had the privilege of guiding others through the obstacles in their lives. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I bring my knowledge and expertise in working with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, reactive attachment disorder, abuse and neglect, mood dysregulation, behavioral concerns, relationship issues and family conflict.

Hi, my name is Terra Spencer, and I am a Certified Social Worker (CSW) at Aspire Psychological. 

I believe that empathy and honesty are the foundation of the therapeutic process. I am a trauma-informed therapist with genuine warmth and compassion who loves helping guide clients make changes and learn skills to create more meaningful lives. I integrate mainly Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Accelerated Reprocessing Therapy (ART) in my trauma treatment approach.

Hi, my name is Richard Cronshey, and I am an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC) at Aspire Psychological.

Before I pursued my career as a mental health counselor, I trained intensively in trauma focused intervention, Tibetan Buddhist yoga and meditation and worked as a Chaplain & Bereavement Facilitator at home hospice for ten years. I support people at end of life, and their loved ones, to access innate strengths and spirituality to process loss, grief, and anxiety, find meaning, and experience peace and healing.

Trained as a generalist, I have experience working with individuals and couples who struggle with a range of mood disorders, trauma, and life changes. I received intensive training and certification from the College of Pastoral Supervision & Psychotherapy in Bereavement Counseling and as a Board Certified Chaplain.

Hi, my name is Kim Nguyen, a Clinical Mental Health
Counseling Intern currently pursuing my degree at Cappella University, and I'm proud to be an alumna of the University of Utah.

I'm genuinely excited about the opportunity to support individuals of all ages in their mental health journey. I understand that reaching out for help can be nerve-wracking, but just like many others through Aspire Psychological, I'm here to provide the support and guidance needed.

Hi, my name is Jessica Otero, and I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern at Aspire Psychological.

I am excited to support individuals of all ages through their mental health journeys. Seeking help can be one of the most difficult things to do.

I have been a practicing school counselor at the middle school level since 2014. My passion is working with children, adolescents, teens, and families to provide guidance and support with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, grief, trauma, and divorce. I have helped clients work through the school system to get the support they need to be successful, including IEPs, 504s, and connections to mental health resources within the school and district. My approach is defined by empathy, humor, and compassion, allowing me to establish a collaborative and trusting therapeutic relationship with my clients. This approach enables individuals to share their experiences openly and embark on a journey of healing and growth. My philosophy centers on the belief that a strong therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone of effective counseling.
