Rates & Insurance

Please refer to the table below for our self-pay rates. We do offer some sliding scale services, depending on need. All psychotherapy sessions are typically 45-50 minute long. This is to ensure that we have sufficient time within the scheduled hour to complete your session notes, staff cases, and to deliver therapy homework materials, if needed.

You will be charged in quarter-hour increments for telephone calls to discuss issues or concerns between sessions. The same will be true for any telephone interactions with attorneys, physicians, and others on your behalf, and for any reports and letters you may request us to write on your behalf. You are expected to pay these extra costs at our next session unless specific arrangements are made with your provider.

Missed and late-canceled sessions pose financial issues for all of us. We hold your scheduled appointment time specifically for you and it is extremely difficult for us to fill your last minute canceled session on a short notice. If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, notify us 48 hours prior to your appointment to avoid being charged a $100 session fee. Health insurance companies will not pay for missed sessions, nor will they pay for telephone calls, reports, letters, or interactions with attorneys and others. You are solely responsible for payment for these services. Should I need to cancel your session for any reason, you will not be charged.

Associate Therapists: Cash Rates

Individual Assessment/Therapy: $130

Insurance 

If you wish to use health insurance, our services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance provider. Please call your insurance company or employer in advance of receiving services to check your coverage. It is important that you understand what your costs may be for each session. Here are some helpful questions you may want to ask:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits in my plan?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met? If not, what will be my estimated out of pocket expenses?

  • How much will my co-payment be for each session once my deductible is met?

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance provider allow?

  • Is an authorization required to receive services?

As a convenience to you, we can bill your insurance company for the services we provide to you. You are financially responsible for charges that are not covered under your insurance plan. All required co-payments, co-insurance and deductible amounts are due at the time of service or when we are notified by your insurance company.

  • Most out-of-network insurance providers accepted pending verification.

  • Some patients using out-of-network insurance providers may be required to pay upfront for our services.

  • Superbill statements are available upon request for patients who wish to submit out-of-network claims to their insurance providers for reimbursement.

Deposit

To secure your appointment, we require a $40 deposit at time of scheduling. This refundable deposit will serve as a retainer on your account until you are discharged at the end your treatment here at Aspire Psychological.


Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 48 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a $100 cancellation fee.
